Ready Montco

Emergencies and severe weather can strike with little to no warning, disrupting daily life, forcing evacuations, or leaving residents without power, water, or phone service for days. Skippack Township officials urge residents to take a simple but critical step now to stay informed when it matters most.

ReadyMontco is the county’s official emergency notification system, designed to deliver timely alerts about severe weather, disasters, and other urgent situations affecting Montgomery County. Powered by Everbridge, the system allows residents to receive notifications in the way that works best for them — by email, text message, push notification, or even a phone call.

There is no direct cost to register for ReadyMontco, though standard messaging rates may apply depending on your service provider. Alerts are location-specific, meaning residents must register with a Montgomery County, Pennsylvania address to receive accurate, relevant information.

ReadyMontco is managed by the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety in partnership with regional emergency management agencies and municipalities. It remains the county’s primary and most reliable source for time-sensitive emergency information.

Skippack Township would like to remind residents that preparation starts before a storm or disaster hits. Signing up for ReadyMontco now can help ensure you and your family receive critical information when every minute counts.
