Upcoming Travel Restriction
Drivers should be aware of a lane shift with flagging planned for:
- Tuesday, August 11, 2026
- Wednesday, August 12, 2026
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Route 73 (Skippack Pike) between Old Forty Foot Road/Evansburg Road and Kerr Road

About the Bridge Project
As part of the project, PennDOT's contractor is replacing the existing 90-year-old, two-span reinforced concrete T-beam bridge with a new single-span, reinforced concrete PA Bulb-tee bridge.
The new bridge will be approximately 104 feet long and 52 feet wide and will carry two 12-foot travel lanes with 8-foot shoulders.
Residents and motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the construction area and to plan accordingly for potential delays.
For current traffic conditions, travelers can visit 511PA. The free service is available 24 hours a day and provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speeds, and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through smartphone applications, by calling 5-1-1, and through regional X alerts.
Additional information about PennDOT's planned and active construction projects is available through PennDOT's project information page.
