Sign Regs

The Township would like to remind all businesses, organizations, and community groups of the requirements outlined in Sign Ordinance 200-100 – Sign Regulations.

To help maintain the safety, appearance, and cleanliness of our community:

  • Signs may not be placed within any public right-of-way.
  • Signs may not be installed on Township property without prior Township approval.
  • Signs may not be attached to utility poles.

Signs placed in these prohibited locations can create safety concerns by obstructing sight lines for motorists and pedestrians, contribute to litter when left behind, and detract from the appearance of our community.

To keep our Township safe and attractive, Township staff will remove any signs that are:

  • Located within a public right-of-way.
  • Blocking sight-line visibility for vehicular traffic.
  • Affixed to utility poles.
  • Posted on Township property without prior approval.

We appreciate the cooperation of our local businesses, organizations, and residents in following these regulations. By working together, we can help keep our Township clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Please help spread the word and ensure that anyone posting signs is familiar with the requirements of Sign Ordinance 200-100.
