While there may still be ice and snow on the ground, Skippack Township is already looking ahead to the warmer months and exciting improvements coming to our parks. We’re pleased to share a preview of the new Palmer Park Playground and the final design developed in partnership with Burke and Recreation Resource.
This fly-through video highlights the planned playground, including a poured-in-place surface that is fall-rated and designed to reduce long-term maintenance by eliminating the need for continuous wood-chip replacement by our Public Works Department.
Installation is scheduled for April, and weather permitting, we look forward to opening the new Palmer Park Playground by Memorial Day. We’re excited for the season ahead and for this new space to be enjoyed by the community.
