Skippack Township Public Works crews are currently out working hard to keep our roadways safe. Currently, eight township trucks are actively plowing and treating roads across the community.  Additionally, PennDOT is working to clearly state roads.

For everyone’s safety, residents are strongly urged to stay off the roads, remain at home, and stay warm unless travel is necessary for an emergency. Fewer vehicles on the road allow our crews to work more efficiently and safely.

Please understand that primary and heavily traveled roads are the top priority during snow operations. Once these routes are cleared and passable, crews will move into residential neighborhoods as conditions allow. We appreciate your patience as this work continues.

Residents can also play an important role in keeping our community safe. If you are able, please help by shoveling out fire hydrants in your neighborhood to ensure they are accessible for emergency responders.

For the most up-to-date information, continue to check the Skippack Township website and the Skippack Township Facebook page as conditions and operations may change.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as our team works diligently to keep Skippack Township safe. Let the crews do their job, and please help us by staying home, safe and warm.
