Township Monitoring Coronavirus Situation

Skippack Township is monitoring coronavirus updates and communications from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Montgomery County Office of Public Health. These agencies will primarily be responsible for directing the response to an outbreak of coronavirus in the Township, if one occurs.

The Township’s role in this situation would be to help share information with the community. Please monitor the Township’s Facebook posts and website. You should also sign up for alerts from Ready Montco.

The guidance the Township can offer today is to follow the advice of health officials and:

1. Wash your hands frequently
2. Avoid anyone exhibiting signs of a cough and fever
3. Stay home if you are exhibiting any viral symptoms. This will help prevent the spread of any virus to others.

To stay informed, you should follow updates from the relevant agencies on their websites and in the media.
